Memorial Music Monday

So all the grills are out and the partying is over but Americans are still over seas giving their lives for freedom. We get a three day weekend because of those that gave their lives. We get to sit on our couches and watch TV because those that gave their lives. We get to wake up after sleeping in our own beds and do what we want because those that gave their lives. Remember the lost and remember the ones serving now. That is why we can have the Freedom to do what we do.

Free to do what I want. Thanks

Debbie and Andy's Wedding @ The Light Keepers House, Bancroft Hall

This past Sunday Kate and I shot our first wedding of the 2008 wedding season, and what a great wedding it was. We started the morning off over at the Clarion Nantasket Beach Hotel in Hull, MA where Debbie and her Matron of Honor Lisa were getting ready. You totally need to check out Debbie's Shoes she wore. They looked awesome peaking out from under the beautiful dress. The ceremony was over in Scituate, where I don't think there was a dry eye in the house(ofcoarse the tears were all filled will joy)
We all then made our way back to Hull to get a few shots on the beach and take a ride on the Carousel. After the photos were done we made the trip down to The Lightkeeper's House in Cohasset for the party.

Register to view the rest of Debbies and Andy's photos HERE when they are released.

Here are a few shots from the day. Check back for a full slide show soon.

Wedding Weekend Finally

Finally the wedding season begins for us on Sunday! I'm so excited, I woke up this morning all pumped up. I was dancing round the house while Kate was still in bed(ya we didn't have coffee in the house this morning, I had to run and pick some up at Mary Lou's)

Not only are our weddings starting but our little girl is growing up soooooooo fast. Today was her graduation at preschool. She still has another year in preschool but they do a ceremony for all the kids every year, where they sing all the songs they work on all year for the parents. Layla did AWESOME! She Rocked the house with the songs, "I'm a Nut" and "Scarecrow" to name a few. Here is a shot of her rocking out.

Mother's Day Weekend

Happy Mother's day to my Mom and all the our Moms out there, I hope you have a delightful weekend.

Kate's day started off by being woke up by the kids a little later than usual (8am) with the smell of fresh cut Lilacs and lots of little kisses. Layla and Belle helped arrange a beautiful boutique of Lilacs we got from the yard and Layla was finally able to give Kate the gift she made at school. Layla almost didn't make it to mothers day, she wanted to give her little footprint as soon as she brought it home earlier in the week. We then had a quick breakfast and head off to Davis' Farmland in Spencer. We had a great family Mother's day hanging in the sun and petting baby animals. This place is such a great place for little kids. There are little playgrounds separated by ages, a town with shed size houses for the kids to play in, a maze, water filled gold panning trays and so much more, plus all the animals. This place has a lot to do and one can spend a whole day there no problem. The farm is laid out very well, so it doesn't seem crowded and is very clean. Also you can't leave the farm with kids without having a matching wrists bands, which Kate and I feel more play places should do.

Here are only a few images but if you want to see more of the farm stuff you can see a slideshow from last year here

This is not the farm, but I just love this shot Kate got of Layla on the swings this week.
