Today we celebrate our 5th year married, jeez can you believe it's been 5 years already??? I remember looking at rings together in college and saying that someday we would marry. And when I was only 15, I knew how much I was just head over heels for you, but I never thought I would be sneaking out at night with my future husband, what girl thinks about that stuff in highschool? And after 13 years together and 3 daughters, I still get those butterflies that I had when you would kiss me good night on those first few dates. I love you even more now than ever... if that's possible. I guess just growing up and experiencing life together, fun times, tough times, fights, parties, kids, careers, morning coffee and late night giggles, has made me appreciate and love you more. The husband and father you have been has made me the luckiest girl ever, as cheesy as that sounds. Today is special just for us and in 20 more years, we will still be giggling, fighting, having morning coffee, and loving the family and couple we are.

Love You Baby!!!!!

The Feds Established on July 2nd, 2004Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37270515.post-3569584342151630292009-05-18T20:11:00.000-04:002009-05-18T20:12:02.444-04:00All We Are....Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37270515.post-91902859165841364422009-05-11T12:21:00.003-04:002009-05-11T12:27:28.420-04:00YIKES!!!!!YIKES!!!! Linda was so cute as she nervously got ready for her big day. All the girls gossiped and enjoyed a morning brunch as the clock ticked closer to the "I do's" After Linda was all glammed up, we ventured out in the freezing weather to get a few rockin' shots of her. I have to giggle as Linda's dad was a little concerned about us taking shots next to the old shed in the pool area... he said he would have cleaned up a little out there. But no worries, the photos were awesome! And Linda was cozy in her Uggs. The ceremony and reception took place at Lakeview Pavillion (a venue after my own heart). Wintery whites draped through out and golden dimmed chandliers set the mood. There wasn't a dry eye as Linda and Tim exchanged very personal vows. Even little Shane had his part in the wedding. (Linda's cutie son) The reception was unlike any I have seen before.... Linda and Tim's guests know how to have a good time! Rockin out to the 80's was my favorite part, I think we got the best pics then. And Dan, Tim's best man sang a little tribute at the close of the night which he finished off by dancing around Tim in a chair... classic! And a special shout out to the dancing queen of the night, Michelle Birollini of Trends and Traditions, you did a fabulous job! If I had to some up Linda and Tim's wedding, I would say, glamorously fun!

Congrats Linda and Tim!

The proofs will be available at the link below.

http://thefedsstudio.instaproofs.com/enterEvent.php?id=110527

XoXo,

The Feds Studio
Glamoursly Fun Boston Wedding Photographers ;)Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37270515.post-84472441292927752252009-03-13T20:55:00.002-04:002009-03-13T20:58:03.568-04:00Navy Bridal PartyNavy is the new brown for the season... anything goes with it! Despite wanting desperately to relocate to a warmer climate, I giggled and related to every single one of these. You can take the girl out of Boston, but never can you take the Boston out of the girl. My all time favorite is meeting "outsiders" and molding them into Bostonians, point in case, our friend Todd moved to MA from Arkansas.... that was entertaining! Or our fellow photographer friend Shyla, she caught on quick and refered to her Red Sox hat as her Boston hat. (giggle)! Enjoy and feel free to add your own you know you are from Massachusetts when... in our comment section.

XoXo,

The Feds

Massachusetts Wedding Photography

READ THESE THEY ARE ALL SO TRUE

1. You've pulled out of a side street and used your
car to block oncoming traffic so you can make a left

2. Stop signs mean slow down a little, but only of
you want to

3. You know how to cross four lanes of traffic in
five seconds

4. You believe using your turn signals gives away
your plan to the enemy

5. You think it's not actually tailgating unless
you're touching the bumper of the car in front of
you

6. You know that a yellow light means that at least
five more people can get through and a red one means
two more can

7. The transportation system is known as the "T"

8. You could own a small town in Iowa for the cost
of your house

9. You almost feel dissapointed when someone doesnt
flip you off when you cut them off or steal their
parking space

10. There are 24 Dunkin Donuts shops within 15
minutes of your house

11. When people talk about "The Curse Of The
Bambino" you just say remember that time the Red Sox made history by coming back from 3 games down against the Yankees and went on to win the world series???

12. You're amazed when traveling out of town that
people at McDonalds actually speak english

13. If you stay on the same road long enough it
eventually has three different names

14. Someone has honked at you because you didnt peel
out the second the light turned green

15. You have honked at someone because they didn't
peel out the second the light turned green

16. All the potholes just add to the excitement of
driving

17. You think if someones nice to you they either
want something or they are from out of town and lost

18. Six inches of snow is considered a dusting

19. Three days of 90 degree heat is definately a
"heat wave" 63 degrees is "on the warm side"

20. You cringe everytime you hear some actor/actress imitate the
"Boston Accent" on TV or in a movie, if you don't have it then
you're never going to get it even if you were born here

21. At the ice cream shop you call chocolate
sprinkles "jimmies"

22. You can go from one side of town to the other in
less than fifteen minutes and see at least fifteen
losers you went to high school with doing the same
thing they were doing when you saw them last

23. It is raining and/or snowing, the person in front of you is going 70, and you're still cursing them for going too slow

24. You know how to pronounce towns like Worcester, Haverhill, and
Cotuit

25. You know what they sell at a "packie"

26.You've called something "wicked pissa"

27. You've slammed on your brakes to deter a
tailgator

28. You still try to order curly fries from Burger
King

29. You keep an ice scraper in your car all year
round

30. You know at least three Tony's one Vinnie, and a
Frank

31. Paranoia sets in when you can't see an ATM or
CVS

32. You think crosswalks are for wimps

33. You've bragged about saving money at The
Christmas Tree Shop

34. You know what "regular coffee" is, and you order iced coffee in January

35. You can navigate a rotary without a problem

36. You have been to Fenway Park

37. You refer to the New York Yankees as the Evil Empire

38. You feel the rest of the world needs to drive
more like you

39. When someone calls you a "masshole" you take it
as a compliment

40. You use the words "wicked" and "good" in the
same sentence

41. You know what a frappe is

42. Saint Patrticks Day is your second favorite
holiday

43. You are proud to drink Sam Adams and think that
the rest of the country owes Bostonians a thank you

44. You never say "Cape Cod" you say "the cape"

45. You went to Old Sturbridge Village and Plymouth Plantation in
elementary school

46. You can drive to the mountains and the ocean all
in one day

47. You have a special place in your heart for the Worcester
Firefighters

48. You know the Mass Pike and 128 are some strange weather
dividing lines

49. You do not recognize the letter "R" as a part of the English language.

50. You've gone from I-95 South to I-93 North by driving in a straight line and never changing direction.

51. And when I say family I mean 7 kids under the age of 13yrs. and 8 adults... yikes that's a lot good thing it's a big place. It was -10 degrees on the ride up to NH, I never thought my car temperature reader actually would show a negative. On day two it was -28 degrees without figuring in the windchill, yikes again. My mother in law suggested this was a good day to take the kids skiing (-28degrees) but surprisingly it didn't feel cold, trust me we were dressed for the weather. We spent the day on the bunny hill with both girls, it was Layla's second year skiing and Annabelle's first. They both loved the Lady Bug, a conveyor belt thing that brings the kids up a slight hill. Layla was cross country skiing by the end of the weekend and Annabelle was begging to go up the chair lift by Sunday (she can barely stand on skis yet) We had some adult time and played a little poker, FYI if you play poker with me then watch out for my poker face.... I tend to giggle, oohhhaaahhh and smile uncontrollably when I am dealt a good hand, it's pathetic. The last day was spent making giant snow ramps for the kids to fly off of at the end of a huge snow slide. It was some well needed fun in the snow! Here's a video of the girls at the lodge playing around after a long day of skiing.

Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37270515.post-86322217261079423732009-01-14T10:17:00.002-05:002009-01-14T10:39:55.638-05:00Pug weclomes Anne RuthmannPizza, Soda and Anne Ruthman... is a fun PUG. We welcomed our first PUG with Anne has our new leader and she did a great job. :) After about an hour of mingling with lots of new faces, we moved up to a classroom at the CDIA in Waltham. Anne discussed the importance of calendar sharing, something only a few of us are doing right now. She went through how to set up a google calendar and after many questions, Anne closed up the night with some PUG announcements, and then a group of us went out to get some brownie sundaes and chocalate milk.... I know aren't we party animals at a bar at 11pm drinking chocalate milk ;) Some new comers to the PUG were Jeff Newcomb, Earl Christie, Karen from Kielka Brown, British Rob from Brown photographic and more. It was great to see a large outcome and I hope everyone returns next month so the "regulars" increases in size. Don't forget to see Anne at Mystic this weekend!

The room was hot and packed. Oh yeah and all the morning sickness :( Many of you may not know this, but we lost a baby this past summer early on in the pregnancy, which was so hard for us. We waited to hear a heart beat and a few extra weeks before spreading the good news, chances of miscarriage after hearing a heart beat is only at 1%, so we were very relieved to see a very happy healthy baby on the ultrasound. Our little girls came with us to see the baby for the first time and they were so excited, and now the little mommy (Layla) has been discussing with me what is okay to eat, or do that is safe for the baby, i.e. no eating crunchy foods because the baby has no teeth. We will keep everyone posted on how we are doing and don't worry, I will be shooting through all nine months.

P.S.
Thanks MKD for offering a maternity photoshoot!

xoxo,
The FedsUnknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37270515.post-9366515924213046262008-12-22T19:09:00.003-05:002008-12-22T19:28:10.015-05:00ON THE 3RD DAY TIL CHRISTMAS THE FEDS SAY TO THEE....ON THE 3RD DAY TIL CHRISTMAS THE FEDS SAY TO THEE... Our wicked awesome phone service Vonage has a special feature that allows our girls to call the North Pole and leave Santa a voicemail. What's even better is that it is then sent to our voicemail (via email) so we can listen to their little voices. Below is a quick snap shot with my little point and shoot, but it's of Layla last year playing at the Mac Store. ENJOY YOUR FAMILY!

What is the most important aspect of Christmas for us? It's spending time with family. There's nothing more fulfilling than seeing our girls eyes light up as they see what Santa has brought them. A great memory from last year's Christmas morning was Layla's excitement that Santa had eaten her cookies, she could care less about the presents... she went running for the kitchen table to see the crumbs. Anyways, the past 3 days we have been snowed in. It has not stop snowing for 72 hours and we have about 2-3 feet on the ground. So today the cabin fever just got to be too much. So it was time for family snow fun. We spent the day building a snowman, a snow fort, a snow slide and some kid tossing into snow piles. We finished off the day with a family snowball fight, of which Fed threw a cheap shot and got me in the face... but my girls tag teamed him and whitewashed him for payback! So during this holiday season enjoy your family and the moments that you share because they will soon just be memories.

XoXo,
The FedsUnknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37270515.post-23431598372992395642008-12-20T18:53:00.011-05:002008-12-20T19:10:57.893-05:00ON THE 5TH DAY TIL CHRISTMAS THE FEDS SAY TO THEE....ON THE 5TH DAY TIL CHRISTMAS THE FEDS SAY TO THEE... THANKS FOR THE FUNNY CHRISTMAS CARDS!!!!

I LOVE getting Christmas cards! And thanks to everyone who sent us one! LET IT SNOW!

Our holiday party with our photog friends was cancelled due to the blizzard outside. I was really looking forward to karaoke and yankee swap, but Santa sent a little snow to get us in the spirit of Christmas. After all what's Christmas without at least one day of white out conditions, possible loss of power and an entire day locked in the house with cabin fever ridden kids? The forecast calls for at least 12 inches of snow for today. The weatherman said to expect about 2 inches per hour from 2pm til 1 am, maybe my math is fuzzy, but isn't that way more than 12 inches of snow???? Oh yeah, that scary looking red band on the map is heading right for us. I complain now, but I will be the first one to be sledding down a hill tomorrow when the sun is back!

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

XoXo,

The FedsUnknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37270515.post-29454404700396758692008-12-16T20:45:00.001-05:002008-12-18T21:04:24.052-05:00ON THE 7TH DAY TIL CHRISTMAS THE FEDS SAY TO THEE....ON THE 7TH DAY TIL CHRISTMAS THE FEDS SAY TO THEE...... ENJOY YOUR NEIGHBOR'S LIGHT SHOW.

So maybe it's a bit annoying when you are trying to fall asleep and the ever glowing reindeer decor from your neighbor's roof gleams into your eyes, but hey it's just their outward expression of their holiday cheer. We went on our yearly hunt for awesome Christmas lights, we piled the whole family into a toasty car and I rocked out the kids Christmas cd, (Fed even sang along to a few songs) It was mostly a duet between myself and Layla. We went to our usual "hot spots" for awesome lighting, but we were really disappointed to see barely anyone had decorated yet.... come on people we have 9 days left! And so I have vowed to make my house that wicked awesome house with lights coordinated to Christmas music next year. Yes, I will be that neighbor. And so I say, rock on annoying neighbor with the crazy lights!!!!!

XoXo,

The FedsUnknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37270515.post-23175071048366498162008-12-16T08:36:00.002-05:002008-12-17T12:04:31.724-05:00Get It Off Workshop

Get Your Flash off your Camera

The Feds along with grandmaster flasher Doug :) are holding a seminar on getting your flash off your camera. Combine flour, baking soda, ground ginger, baking powder, and salt, stirring with a whisk. Place 1/2 cup granulated sugar, brown sugar, and butter in a large bowl; beat with a mixer at medium speed 3 minutes or until mixture resembles coarse meal. Add vanilla and egg; beat well. Add flour mixture to sugar mixture; beat at low speed until well blended. Divide dough in half; gently press each portion into a 4-inch circle on plastic wrap. Cover and chill 1 1/2 hours.

Preheat oven to 350°.

Unwrap each dough portion and place on 2 sheets of overlapping plastic wrap. Cover each portion with 2 additional sheets of overlapping plastic wrap. Roll, still covered, to a 1/4-inch thickness. Place dough in freezer 30 minutes or until plastic wrap can be easily removed. Remove plastic wrap; cut dough with a 3-inch gingerbread man cookie cutter to form 12 cookies. Place cookies 1 inch apart on baking sheets coated with cooking spray. Sprinkle cookies evenly with 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar. Bake at 350° for 12 minutes or until set. Remove cookies from baking sheets; cool completely on wire racks. Repeat procedure with remaining dough and 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar.

To prepare filling, combine ice cream and crystallized ginger, stirring well. Spread 1 1/2 tablespoons ice cream on the flat side of each of 12 cookies; top with remaining cookies, flat sides down, pressing gently. Wrap each sandwich tightly in plastic wrap; freeze 4 hours or until firm.

XoXo,

The FedsUnknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37270515.post-60623125904810158892008-12-14T19:57:00.002-05:002008-12-14T20:16:07.628-05:00On the 11th Day til Christmas the Feds said to thee.....ON THE 11TH DAY TIL CHRISTMAS THE FEDS SAID TO THEE, WATCH A MOVIE!

There are so many Christmas movies, how do you decide which are the best to watch? Because we all know you can't possibly watch them all, so we have a list of our top picks. So here we go....

Fed's Top Pick: Charlie Brown Christmas (I think he sympathizes with Charlie's less than adequate Christmas tree)

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 252px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGDNYkb1r4L3ItFEtTRyXRwtxN1w3CycCpfzDMP3nb75twNX0E9OC2pj03NeJQrxEtqggKoCHo-qq9I9a_PgLj3z52oJ7uUhIRHrnV4nBN4XVCKPBPsPSXIKC_hnoIXf6Q5okA_Q/s400/charlie+brown+tree.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5279815611578625634" />

Kate's Top Pick: Gremlins ( I have a sick sense of humor, Fed says this isn't a Christmas movie, but I say feed them chicken and let the holiday party begin)

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 262px; height: 380px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSjQwKaz_nlJLtkQApu9W7ZeuyxY7DFtbfqcjgoOOEmld-sMkMaTIhju25WqrS5x9kawupTCUDc9PtGFUoRA_aR5VvKz7m9hYIUHqU1K5TGkb12TzcoKVvTa9lj0SDXYQ8zuaGAQ/s400/gremlins_stripe_santa.gif" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5279816370866879154" />

Layla's Top Pick: The Grinch ( I think she thinks that she is Cindy Loo Who.
