Boston Brides Re-Launch

Hey everyone,
I just wanted to announce the re-launch of Boston Brides Blog It's a little pet project that I started last year, but I got way too busy to maintain. Not that busy doing photography is a bad thing ;) It's pretty much a resource for all those Boston (and New England) brides that we work with. We want to help them with other resources besides photography. So, it's a collection I have started of local vendors to help the brides to be pick the best out there and not to exhaust their time on the Internet, I've done it for them. If you're a vendor please email me pictures and other goodies that I can post about. And if you're a bride to be, check it out. I hope it helps. Remember, it's different because it's region specific. New England only. Thanks for the support!

It's really no big Deal

Hey everyone. So last week I cut my hair. I usually just give myself a crew cut of sorts, but I just decide to buzz my whole head :) I then updated my twitter saying I shaved my head, opps I guess bad choice of words cause I had people im me and ask "did you really shave your head", "I got to see this" "did you bic it??".... So every one that wanted to know I just buzzed it, no big deal.

The Bald Wedding Photographer, LOL

Jennifer, Mark and Dupree

Kate and I recently had the pleasure of spending the day with Jennifer and Mark who's wedding we'll be photographing at the Harborside Hyatt, Boston this coming fall. Jennifer and Mark flew up from Texas to go over some details for their wedding and get shot by the Feds.

We started out over at Jennifer's aunts house for a makeup trial and some very good peanut butter cookies. Jennifer's aunt took care of Kate and I, coffee, fruit, blueberry cake, and did I mention the peanut butter cookies :) We also got to meet Dupree the littlest, cutest chihuahua you have ever seen. Check out the photo of him with his eyes closed. We shot a few photos of Jennifer, Mark and Dupree at the house before we headed into Boston where we met up with the fabulous planner Michelle from Trends and Traditions

We can't wait to be there at the Hyatt Boston this fall. Here is your slide show.

RockStar Road Trip

This past Friday I awoke to yet another wet and rainy April day packed up my stuff and made my way into Boston to attend the Rockstar Road trip. First I needed a little fuel to start my day of right so Tony and I met up and had breakfast over at Mike's Dinner. Both of us decided on the Emergency Room breakfast which is just about 2 of everything :)

After Breakfast we headed on over to the Marriott in Boston for the Rockstar Road trip seminar with Corey McNabb and Amber Holritz. Corey covered all things Wedding Photography while Amber shared her amazing stories and knowledge from the world of Lifestyle Baby Photography.

After the seminar a few of us hung a round and brought down the house with a little video game action. I never played Rock Band before but it is pretty fun. There are to quick shoots below of me on Vocals. I know Eric posted a few photos on his blog and if you check the Rockstar or Corey's Blog there will be a few more photos soon if Amber ever gets some sleep.

After all of us wedding photographers brought the house down, Corey, Amber, Matt, Enna, Tony, Anna, Kurt, Shyla and I headed over to Kings for some food and 10 pin bowling. Man, I really stink at 10 pin! If you want to go out and bowl I need some practice invite me along.
